This is a brilliant work, patiently explaining and filling the gaps that your second and third wave feminism may have left.

The narrator has a lovely and soothing voice but the performance is nonetheless too one-note. I found myself having to rewind parts because my brain had switched off listening to her. She’d be perfect for restful sleep aid (I don’t mean that as a joke about her being boring! - it’s just that the words in this book need a bit more snap and challenge.)

Brilliant book on intersectional feminism- made me understand how race, class and gender are related and opened my eyes to sex work. Very accessible and engaging for me who had read little feminist theory before hand. this book changed me.
