Summary

I’m faking a relationship with my best friend. What could possibly go wrong?

Skye is my best friend. I trust her with my life. So, when she asks me to play her boyfriend, I say, "Hell, no!" Love screws everything up. And I’m not about to lose the only person who gets me. But Skye is determined. She’s bringing a fake boyfriend to her cousin’s wedding, with or without me.

No way am I letting some other guy hold her, touch her, kiss her. It has to be me. It’s strange, smiling like I’m madly in love. But it’s easy, wrapping my arms around her curvy body. It’s easy, dragging my lips over her soft neck.

And when she kisses me? It’s easy, realizing she’s the only thing I need.

I have five weeks of faking it. Five weeks to convince my best friend our fake love is real.

The Best Friend Bargain

I absolutely loved this book. It is the ultimate friends to lovers love story. I loved that Skye is a sexy, curvy, fashion model. This book has a great message for women in general. It tells you to love yourself at whatever size you are, Also to value your self worth. Kai and Wen do an FANTASTIC job bringing the characters to life with their chemistry.

Enjoyed this couple

Who hasn’t fallen in love with their bestie? I know I have. Forrest & Skye are a wonderful couple, both of them are very relatable. However, I hated Mac! Not so much her portions of the story, but specifically her voice... made me want to stop reading on several occasions.

Like the story, disappointed in the cover

I like the story and dual narration, but am utterly confused about the cover. The heroine is supposed to be a dark haired half Asian, but the woman pictured is a redhead. False advertising (again)???

There's a part of the book that mentions that there should be more non-white influencers. The cover's misrepresentation does not help the matter.
