The True Story of One Woman's Triumph of Faith

This testimony of Darlene was inspirational and certainly puts our ‘ light afflictions ‘in perspective. listening to how the Lord ministered to her in the darkest of times was really faith building. A true reminder that He will never leave us or forsake us and to cling to Him. The wonderful gift of boldness to share the light of the gospel with her persecutors and the fruit that came from that encourages us all to trust in the power that works within us. A life dedicated to God and one totally dependent on Him each and every day, all glory goes to God.

Well narrated biography of a spirited woman who lived through the horrors of Japanese internment with courage and cheerfulness. I learned much from her close walk with God and the way she coped with dark and difficult experiences as well as her infectious humour and joy. Fascinating story. I like Lorna Raver's narration.
