The book starts stating how the importance of putting is over rated. Then it has 3 chapters on putting statistics. Later in the book, there is a further chapter on putting and how to improve and it is pretty effective ironically.

After all the stats, it appears we need to work on our putting/short game, our approaches shots and our tee shots, roughly 1/3, 1/3 and a 1/3. Who’d have thought …

This was probably decent when it was first released, but if you have a vague understanding of Strokes Gained and/or Decade (which is based on this) then save yourself the read/listen.
