Summary
Assistant store manager Melanie is one of a kind. Working her way up from the bottom, she's on the road to becoming a salaried manager with the help of her boss and mentor, Paulina. Her dedication, determination, and great attitude keep her moving up the corporate ladder. Things are going good, but just as she receives her first big promotion, Paulina goes out on disability, and Melanie is stuck with Tim, a young and flirtatious temporary manager; and Raylayna, the new district manager who seems to always be on a power trip.
Tim is a handsome yet cocky guy who is more than willing to let you know how good he is at his job. Although he is engaged, he takes an interest in Melanie as soon as they meet each other. His laidback attitude conflicts with Melanie's intense determination, and it drives her crazy to see him get the credit for all her hard work. Melanie is suddenly faced with the new challenge of resisting her strong desires for Tim while trying to remain professional at work.

Fun, Believable and Passion Filled Romance
In my opinion, Alessandra Bancroft has delivered yet another fantastic romance story in Our Secret.
In Melanie and Tim, she has created characters that are believable and the way Bancroft expertly builds the chemistry and sexual tension between the two is excellent.
The narrator also deserves praise as she really helps bring this tale to life with her tremendous delivery.
A really enjoyable listen and a must have for fans of steamy romance stories!

Our Secret - amazing story for adult
If you could sum up Our Secret in three words, what would they be?
Passionate, delightful and so realistic
What was one of the most memorable moments of Our Secret?
The most amusing character is Raylayna, Melanie’s boos, that is strong and powerful but sometimes ridiculous. Her irritation, shouting in front of customers, her strange comments and character is funny. She is so realistic that nearly impossible to believe that she is just a fictional figure. The most amusing moment was when Melanie sent her naked picture by mistake to Raylayna’s phone. I was wonder how her reaction would be. Also for Melanie it is the most traumatic moment, she can lose her job and feel terrible.
What about Kendall Taylor’s performance did you like?
I really like Kendall Taylor's as narrator. She is manage to changing voice tone and accent to perform different characters. Her voice is very emotional and suits for the vivid story.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A passionate, twisted romance story in the scenery of the modern supermarket, workplace hierarchy and overwhelming stress and pressure. Mixture of unpredictable events, secrets and very strong emotions.

Alessandra Bancroft in “Our secret” creates tension, desire and competition between main characters and shows they relationships in different angles. The key word is the title – our secret. Both Melanie and Tom gradually have more and more secrets to hide. In the climax of the story their most excited secret appears – they became secret lovers. Very powerful ending is the most excited moment that most readers looking forward. They won’t be disappointed for sure.

The Perfect Romance Novel
I love romance novels and this was packed full of sexual tension and excitement. The quality of the writing in Our Secret was so much higher than that which you normally find in romance novels and the story was engaging and believable. The book was sprinkled with funny moments which really added an extra dimension that I loved.
Kendall Taylor's narration was brilliant and I'll definitely be looking for titles that he's narrated again. His voice really brought you into their world and made it all feel so much more real.
I'd definitely recommend this to my friends!

everyday sexual tension in one book
If you could sum up Our Secret in three words, what would they be?
I can relate
What was one of the most memorable moments of Our Secret?
"Relax, side chick".... this is my favorite part. i guess in chapter six of the book.Tim is trying to calm Melanie down after he had got her in trouble at work... I like how he carelessly called her side chick
What about Kendall Taylor’s performance did you like?
Kendall has easily become my favorite romance narrator. i would choose her time and time again
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I laughed my ass off at the point when Melanie sent her nude to her boss

Spectacular Romance Fantasy Book!
Any additional comments?
I must admit that I am not that into romance books because I always prefer watching movie films over reading or listening to audio books. The only romance book I’ve tried to read is Fifty Shades of Grey and for me, that book is actually way better than the films. Considering that Fifty Shades was my first romance book, that makes this audio book my second one and oh dear, I am going to have to bow down to Bancroft for writing a spectacular piece, hands down!
I’ve never imagined myself getting into romance books because I did not think that it would actually give you the same quality experience you get from a film. I love how the story makes you work your imagination and how interesting it is.
I’m going to have to put Bancroft in my watch list. This is the first one out of the many books I will be purchasing from her!
