Endland holds a broken mirror to England. Books should not try to be radio plays

This might be a good book, I simply don't know. I couldn't listen past the first 3 minutes with the horrible backing sound effects and music, like it's trying to be a film or a radio play. Those sounds are NOT in the printed book and I don't want them in the audio either. If the author's good, the words alone (shock horror) will conjure those things up without some bored sound engineer adding them.

If you listen on headphones and actually pay attention to words, this is not an audio book for you.
