About this listen

'A testament to the success of Eddie's life' DAMON HILL

Full Throttle is a high-octane guide to business, leadership and resilience - told through the extraordinary life and lessons of Formula One legend Eddie Jordan.

A maverick team boss and fearless entrepreneur, Eddie built Jordan Grand Prix from scratch, discovered world champions like Michael Schumacher, and turned bold risks into billion-pound successes. Along the way, he inspired everyone around him to back themselves and defy convention.

At its heart lies The Jordan Code - 25 powerful principles for entrepreneurs, leaders and ambitious thinkers who want to win against the odds. Each is brought to life through stories and reflections from Eddie's friends and peers, including Bono, Richard Branson, David Coulthard, Jake Humphrey, Roger Taylor, Mark Webber, and many more.
Perfect for business leaders, founders and innovators, Full Throttle shows how courage, instinct and creativity can fuel lasting success.

Keith O'Loughlin’s Full Throttle achieves something difficult: it captures the full spectrum of Eddie Jordan. This book is effectively three books in one, which aptly reflects the life of EJ, who managed to fit three lifetimes into one.

The Maverick, The Mogul, The Man.

Superb Busienss and life lessons, really insightful. A lot of repetition but in fairness it really drives home the lessons. Highly recommended

Excellent Busienss lessons

Loving it all, the stories, anecdotes, understanding EJ’s passion, drive, warmth and “philosophies” . The delivery in the soft Irish brogue is also beguiling from the author.

The vitality and humanity of EJ, inspiring

I was really looking forward to listen to this book. It has some really great stories about Eddie and he’s ducking and diving. The repetitiveness in the book is very annoying and stories that could last just five minutes are taking 15.

Some good stuff but very repetitive

At the start of this they point out that isn’t a biography or even the history of Eddie Jordan or his Grand-Prix instead it’s a story about he saw himself. It’s a nice tribute to EH, however a lot of this can be classed as self help. Sadly I found it boring and repetitive, something making the car faster within reason is mentioned three times. Also the Schumacher story about him joining the team in Dpa 1992 is told twice the Fuji film sponsorship deal is interesting but a topic that gets to the point quickly and to that self drive Eddie had. Normally I I like these type of books but I had to quit it and mark it as finished.i just had enough of it.

Boring
