Summary

Unpredictable, bizarre, elegiac, often cruel, but above all, painfully funny, What It Is sees Dylan ponder the joys and disappointments of human existence with the sensibility and intense perception of a man teetering on the edge. Critically and publicly acclaimed around the world for his previous Monster and Like, Totally shows, What It Is is Dylan's finest live performance yet.

Extremely funny, it will definitely make you laugh

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely because its got to be one of the funniest audio books I have ever listened to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dylan Moran Live - What It Is?

Pretty much all of it. Dylan Moran is an amazing and funny comedian from Ireland, and let's be honest, that is the magic of Stand-Up Comedy, its designed to be funny and memorable, so I highly recommend you listen to this, it will certainly brighten your day.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Well it is stand-up comedy, you can't just read it, as it depends on how the jokes and phrases are delivered.

Any additional comments?

I just broke up with my girlfriend just a few hours ago and my guinea pig died last night, I didn't think anything would ever be able to cheer me up, but this audio book really made me laugh and it certainly brightened my day.

Gutbustingly funny

Dylan Moran never fails to make me laugh. Do not drive or handle dangerous machinery when listening. His take on life is unique, his delicious incoherence compelling and his wordplay and imagery masterful. Deserving of many listens
