A great addition

Another great addition to the Ronan Saga. It is a great short story that gives insight into the struggles some of the characters we know may experience. A little sneak peek behind the curtain of parts of this world we haven’t fully seen yet.
I also really enjoyed the narration.

A great short story

A really nice short story to go along with the epic saga of the other books. It gives a sneak peak into the world and atmosphere of the stories and I’m really glad I gave it a go.
Really well narrated too and Kate really shows of the atmosphere in the tale.
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.

A calm story that builds into excruciating excitement!

This isn’t the first book I have listened to or read from the Ronin Saga. I didn’t know what to expect from a short story but I figured I had some free credits and I used a couple for a few stories. WOW! Very pleasant start to were you stet introduced to the main character and almost feel that she is a pathetic and almost hopeless “dreamer” to become a powerful sorcerer. Don’t worry, no spoilers here but as the story unfolds , the anguish and insane amount of Tragedy that was needed..... well, you get the point. A must listen multiple times!

Love this story

I read this when the author first released it, and loved it back then. Add Kate Reading's brilliant voice, and I had no problem going through this story again. If you have some credits, give this a listen until we get the next full length book!

Listened to it twice

Loved this short story so much that upon completing it, I immediately listened to it again! Kate reading does an excellent job bringing this book to life, and our main character is both like able and believable, two things that are often hard to come by in fantasy. Well written and well paced!

Top marks

That story was incredible. Twists and turns I was never expecting! I've read a ton of fantasy, and it surprised me with its elegance and surprise twists. So freakin cool. Miriam is someone I want to see more of. What a cool, surprising story. Wolf has done it again.

This is a one hour book for 1 credit - not a good value

I realized this is 1 hour book after I had downloaded the book. Definitely not worth it for 1 hour - and I am amazed at Audible business people that had assigned such value to this book. Not a happy camper here
