Great Read

Donuts, Death, and Dread was another good read by Meredith Potts. Melody Clue is looking for a heartwarming case as a private investigator. Unfortunately her latest case is not a heartwarming one. She is hired to track down a client’s birth mother. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

Meredith makes you think!

This story was not your normal Meredith Post mystery! It was thought provoking though and makes you think how you would deal with the problem . I didn’t agree with the way it ended, but we all do things differently. The storyline was good and flowed well. Stephanie Quinn was great in her usual narrative!

Donuts, Death & Dread

A really heart rending short story, so many things in life are non explainable and so difficult to accept. The narration was good.

Cute & Good Narration

Melody hasn’t had the success lately of finding a lost mother for a client With a donut to eat that does help. Great Narration makes the story and characters come alive. given audio for my voluntary review

Donuts, Death, and Dread

Melody and her mother are coping with the near miss of a major illness that could have taken her mother from her. She heads to the office and there is another client. Jim is a young man who was adopted and is now looking for his biological mother. He is alone in the world and wants someone to connect with. So now Melody's on the job hoping to help him. The finding is easy. The results are difficult. Stephanie Quinn is a remarkable narrator. She brings each character to life for the listener. Fantastic audio and story.

It doesn't always end as expected

Melody Clue shares a PI office in a small town and is kind of bummed at the way her cases have turned out lately, so she's really optimistic over the newest one. It seems to be going so well, so it's almost as hard for her as it is for the client when the results are not what was expected.

Quick Detective Story

This was a pretty fast story. A private detective gets a new case. Her client says his adopted parents have died and he wants the detective to attempt to find his biological mother. This is the story of what the detective does to try to solve the case. The story ends so there is no cliffhanger.

Sweets always make life good

Melody Clue is on another mission, and this one did not turn out as expected. Searching for a birth parent, she finds herself becoming a little too involved in the outcome. And delivering the news to a client is never easy. I was a little sad that even though her findings were not ideal that another response could have found a different ending. But Melody tends to be a little melancholy. In true fashion, stopping for a donut will make things better! Stephanie Quinn brings it all to life and lets us have an hour of relaxing fun!
