Summary

A juicy, powerful listen featuring twin sisters who have drifted apart and the shocking family secrets that bind them....

Robin and Sarah weren't the closest of twins. They weren't even that similar. But they loved each other dearly. Until, in the cruellest of domestic twists, they were taken from one another.

Now in her early 30s, Robin lives alone. Agoraphobic and suffering from panic attacks, she spends her days pacing the rooms of her house. The rest of the time she watches - watches the street, the houses, the neighbours. Until one day she sees something she shouldn't...

And Sarah? Sarah got what she wanted - the good-looking man, the beautiful baby, the perfect home. But she's just been accused of the most terrible thing of all. She can't be around her new family until she has come to terms with something that happened a long time ago. And to do that, she needs to track down her twin sister. But Sarah isn't the only person looking for Robin. As their paths intersect, something dangerous is set in motion, leading Robin and Sarah to fight for much more than their relationship....

I enjoyed this just as much as Holly's debut novel, it's a story that draws you in and I can't wait for the next book if it maintains the high standards of the first two. The story starts slowly, but reveals enough to make you want to continue listening whilst you try and figure out what the conclusion might be. It ends with a roller coaster that I doubt you'll be expecting. I drove home slowly at the end of the book just you ensure I finished it. A great psychological thriller.

Another page turner from Holly Seddon

....But still a very good audio book. Initially I thought the family 'goings ons' might have been a little far fetched but then I remembered a certain weekday morning talk show and realised it's probably not at all impossible or even rare. Many unexpected twists as it edges towards the end a couple guessed. Hope you enjoy as much as I did. Would have enjoyed more of Sarah's story that was so significant at the end to have been more detailed and part of the majority recent past in the story telling.

Was Expecting a Bigger 'bang' at the end .....

Story was captivating.
Did not like the voice of the lady reading the ‘Robin’ character’s part - really annoying & childish sounding, so got quite irritating.

Great story but quite annoying voice reading the Robin character’s part!
