About this listen

They know your name!

Voices are calling us - voices without an attached form. Encounters with these disembodied voices warn us, haunt us, confuse us, inspire us, and scare us. Explore spine-chilling, true stories from the author's investigations and real occurrences throughout history that expose this rarely explored phenomenon.

Objectively and thoroughly presented, the evidence and theories shine light on possible reasons and agendas for these voices and where they might originate. Gain insight into what they are and what we may be able to learn from them. Sometimes they inspire great acts; other times they lead us astray. Are they forgotten woodland deities? Is it an ancient evil from the days of Eden? Is there a single intelligence behind them all...or perhaps we shouldn’t look too deeply...or else....

Famous reports from history as well as never-before-published reports of disembodied voices from the everyday lives of common people are discussed. But what about you? When the voices call, will you answer? Hair-raising conclusions found here will make you think twice.

very engaging and captivating, enjoyed every minute of it. This is a book I will listen to over and over again.

Amazing

I couldn't stop listening. This started with an intriguing premise born of the authors own personal experience then proceeded to deep dive into an aspect of our world that I have not seen addressed like this anywhere else.

Rivetting and disturbing with lots of accounts that illustrate clearly a world that we don't know as much about as we'd like to think.

A thought provoking book. Haven't found anything else like it.

Not sure what to make of this - I did quite enjoy it, but I would have preferred more contemporary accounts to back up the author’s theories rather than putting too much stock into folklore and superstition. Touches on some interesting areas (linking in with the Missing 411 books for eg), though somehow never feels to dig quite deep enough.

There is lot of research gone into it, and the narration is good, but it feels a little bit like a book written for the author’s benefit (ie. to deal with his own experience) rather than the audience’s.
