Outstanding!
Essential knowledge for everyone. Easily accessible, well written and well explained. ‘Dirty Genes’ gave me answers that 2 dozen medical doctors in over a year of seeking answers and being almost bedridden could not. This book changes everything. This really gets to the route cause of illnesses so you can actually heal instead of falling into the the BigPharma trap that treats symptoms but leaves you in fact more and more ill. My parents suffered hypertension, cardiovascular disease, stroke, depression, rage, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, kidney failure and diabetes. Could all that be in my cards? Yes. But now I know it’s not my fate at all if I clean my dirty genes and live to serve them well. They will in turn serve me well, heal me, and prevent me from being the pill popping lady in the endless line at the drugstore and, ultimately, on a gurney. Here’s to your health! Answers at last!
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book!! Look past the narration and look past Dr Lynch’s self congratulatory case studies. The important thing is learning about the seven gene expressions in the book. Then go away and find out exactly what snps you have. It’s taken time to uncover my exact haplotype, but once I did, I read the book again, and again, and I got more out of it each time. Like another reviewer said, this is not information you’ll get from your doctor. I finally feel in control of my own health.

Incredible
I have understood so much in the little i understood... It gave me such hope that I can turn my health around accurately. I recommend reading at least twice to get it.. definitely life changing.

Great content shocking narration!!
I have not left a review on an audible before, but I have to say that I found Dr Ben Lynch very arrogant and he doesn't even mention Dr Bruce Lipton at all who is the scientist that discovered epigenetics over 30 years ago! He practically claims all the glory as though he discovered it himself. I did not enjoy the narration at all. GREAT content, but buy the book, not the audio!

Great listen for us too tired or ill to read !
I felt like this book was written for me ! Audible 1st time experience was fantastic. Suffering with autoimmune chronic illness I'm unable to concentrate & read. Narrator was great & content spot on. Being able to listen over and over again wonderful , although not difficult content to grasp & more to do with me being I'll.

Interesting book
Plenty of useful material.

Loads of terminology with was difficult.

Struggled to finish
I really struggled to finish this book. The author's voice was easy to listen to but the content was heavy going. All the talk about COMT gene and the other genes lost me completely as they didn't relate to me. If the words were more easily transferable and not soooo scientific I would have enjoyed this book much more.
