Nice addition to original series

There are only a few "tapes" in this which are actually from the TV series and most are original to the audiobook, which I was pleased about as it would have felt unnecessary otherwise. Slightly disappointed that it only goes up to the end of Season 1 in the Twin Peaks timeline. Kyle Maclachlan gives a great performance.

Twin peaks dale cooper

Loved listening to Agent Cooper talking to Diane, brought back all the memories of watching the show which I might add can't wait for season 3.
If you enjoyed twin peaks then you'll enjoy sitting and listening to our one and only Agent Dale Cooper

Fun

Not a whole lot of new material, mostly just recordings made on screen. But wonderfully presented. Wish it had been longer

Far too short and lacking in story

As a fan of the show and loving the new series I thought I would revisit some original run material having not heard this before. Besides of couple of new Cooper moments that made me chuckle I found the rest added nothing to the show. I was expecting some further insight, added layer of depth or addition to the story....alas no. and before I knew it the end music was rolling and I had to check the chapter list thinking I must have skipped over some chapters maybe.

Fantastic, but limited to season 1

Great tapes, great production, adorable delivery. I'm just slightly disappointed that the timeline ends at the beginning of season 1, as I expected to find easter eggs about the events of season 2, or more Cooper content building to the finale. Perhaps a second set of tie in tapes was released?

Definitely worth the purchase, but don't expect any narrative beyond the introduction of The Giant, or anything alluding to new info from the (brilliant) Secret History audiobook released in anticipation of season 3.

Now craving coffee and cherry pie.

Not much new

Don't buy this if you're looking for new information; most of the content is from the series.

Great audio diary tape of Agent Dale Cooper

Excellent, but it would've been perfect if it had covered the whole season 1 or also season 2.

Available Again!!!

Would you listen to "Diane…": The Twin Peaks Tapes of Agent Cooper again? Why?

Bought this the second I got in to work today. I had this on audio cassette as a kid and loved it, was so excited to see it's back in print on audible. A must for die hard Twin Peaks fans!

Short, Greta, fun

I hope they make more of these, maybe go back and do the tapes from season two and maybe season 3 (2017) depending how the new story plot turns out.

Perfect for the Twin Peaks Addict

I can't praise Kyle MacLachlan's performance enough. It has all the charm of the original TV series. I only wish it were longer.

Great for fans...

probably not for most. It would have been nice if this had been rereleased as part of the new "Secret History of Twin Peaks" which I recommend above this title.

A little disappointed :(

I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan. And you might have to be to enjoy this one. That being said, I felt let down. But I can't give it less than 4 stars, because it's Twin Peaks and Kyle McLachlan. It's not what I expected. I expected a lot more additions to the story and mythology but most of it is clips from the original series. It doesn't shed light on anything or even go through nearly as much of the story as I thought it would. Of course, Kyle McLachlan does a wonderful job. I'd only recommend this to die hard fans who know the series well and are interested in it as a novelty item. Otherwise it's kind of a weird title to buy, and without knowing the series well, you won't really get much out of it.

Short and sweet.

A must for Twin Peaks/Frost/Lynch fans. Short but well read. I miss this show more after listening to it.

A fun listen.

While not mandatory for most fans, this is just a good snapshot of Cooper being Cooper, mostly relative to the first season. I don’t think this is for everyone but it’s interesting enough to hold the attention of fans who like the quirkiness of Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Dale Cooper.
