The story of Revan is one of the greatest stories within the Star Wars universe.

It relies heavily on the back story of the brilliant 'Knights of the Old Republic' games, which could lead it to be somewhat confusing for those who have not played them. However if, like me, you were a huge fan of those outstanding games you will adore this story.

Now you can finally discovered the fate of Revan after the first 'KOTOR' game and be lead through a journey into the unknown regions by a perfect narrator, Mark Thompson. His delivery of the various characters, some of which are among my favourite of all the Star Wars eras and stories, is incredible. With each voice fitting perfectly as he paints a perfect picture of the settings and moods of each scene. I have listened to many of the Star Wars audio books and he remains, by far, my favourite narrator.

I cannot recommend this book enough, especially if you played the 'KOTOR' games. And for those who haven't, I highly recommend those games as well as they will set the stage for this unbelievably well crafted story. They remain to this day my favourite RPG games and this book takes the journey of Revan even further.

A little misleading; I was expecting DARTH Revan. But still a good story.
Marc Thompson is excellent and a very good voice actor.
The production was amazing too, complete with music and sound effects. Somewhere between a narration and performance!

As with most unabridged Star Wars audiobook productions, Revan is an excellent and exciting telling and performance of the novel.

I have listened to this audiobook at least 3 times over in the last few years, i always come back to it and to be honest the other old republic books.

The narrator does a fab job, the voice acting is second to none, the sound effects lightsaber battles are flawless,
Its just an audiobook i cannot stop listening to i enjoy it that much.

Fits in well with the KOTOR game series too as it gives tells more of a story of the main protagnists.
Disney have got to really work hard to overwrite the old republic series, im not impressed with the high republic at the moment.

As a fan of Star Wars I did find the story quite engaging and the narrator was pretty good with voices and had a good flow for reading.

Not sure I would have read though without knowing the backstory as even though this was touched on I feel it would have been difficult for the casual listener to follow.
