This audiobook is a well-intended tool for teaching children emotional control and resilience. Through CBT exercises, kids learn to manage negative emotions like frustration and embarrassment. The workbook includes activities that enhance problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills. The content is more appropriate for parents and caregivers, but the content and narration are dry for children aged 7-14. The narration really lacked professional quality, he often stumbled on words, had quite a few pauses, and heavy breathing sounds.

This was such a good listen, I wish I had it was I was younger, such powerful and positive techniques to really help with anxiety and confidence - these are the two areas I suffer with.

If/when I have children, ill be letting them listen to this from an early age.

This has a lot of powerful analogies and themes that can be HUGE to help integrate early on. There are pauses integrated throughout the activities and questions and pausing with your kid to check for understanding and insights would help you get a lot out of it and incorating opportunities for discussion and/or explanation could be valuable. I say this because listening to everything at once can be a lot to digest and anchor takeaways. Like the author says at one point, the more you work on one thing after learning/hearing it once, the more impactful to outcome will be. Could be something to listen to more than once!

Lots of useful information particularly on cognitive behavioural therapy and also exercises to support. Some mistakes in the performance which could have been re-recorded for better flow but overall a worthy book to support kids.

In this book you will learn to teach your kid cognitive behavioral therapy. Sibley does a good job in training the listener how to use techniques teach your kid useful adaptive coping responses in regards to the feelings and thoughts that occur. All in all, I thought this book was useful and practical.
