About this listen

A clean billionaire marriage romance by Jasmine Carter of BWWM Club. The first book in the Clean Love series.

Alexis wants to leave her old life behind. She is done dealing with her unfaithful boyfriend, bitter sister, and boring life. So when she’s given the opportunity to be an English tutor in Greece, she jumps on it! It’s in this beautiful location that she meets Demetrius. He is incredibly handsome and way out of her league...or so she thinks.

There’s no denying that they’re both attracted to each other. But not everyone is thrilled about them getting close, and they are determined to put a stop to their relationship. With people out to destroy her happiness, will she and Demetrius ever be together?

Or will Alexis be forced to go back to her boring life in California?

A rushed ending, and a poor execution. I know this is a fictional novel, but my goodness I do not know a soul who would take someone back after all that was said about their identity and their family. Absolutely degrading and humiliating. Tragic. Not every love story must have a forced happy ending, and if you are going to redeem the love interest, make it believable.

Maybe it is my code of honour, but my goodness, that was so frustrating, and not in a way that was appreciated.

I don't even know why the two main characters fell in love so deeply after 'just a month.' The story felt like it spanned over two weeks at best. Felt extremely rushed, parts glazed over that could be explored.

I understand that writing a novel takes time.
It is art.

However, if you, like a painter to a portrait, present a rushed piece, it is obvious and hard to appreciate.

It had potential
