A secret expedition to the deepest heart of the rain forest

Entertaining enough but I found the science a little unbelievable which meant I couldn’t engage with the story as much as I would have liked. A bit repetitious in places. Lacked the individual character interest present in his other books. Maybe that reflects the storyline of many different interested individuals and companies still destroying the rainforest with apparently no end to it in spite of everyone KNOWING it’s a precious resource. Also maybe written before the many successful immunisations and treatments that have been developed and so was a bit difficult to wholeheartedly engage with storyline.
