Set in rural Michigan in the 1930s, Deed of Trust is the story of a dysfunctional family trying to work through the complicated matter of inheritance and fortune. Splintered by years of infighting, Deed of Trust follows two sisters trying to unify the many factions in their family. Comic and quirky, Claudia Allen's play is filled with warmth and humor. L.A. Theatre Works presents this production as a full-cast performance including such amazing talent as Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless both of whom portray sisters with levity and compassion.
