About this listen

A milestone of storytelling set in the world of The Sword of Truth, Debt of Bones is the story of young Abby's struggle to win the aid of the wizard Zedd Zorander, the most important man alive.

Abby is trapped, not only between both sides of the war, but in a mortal conflict between two powerful men. For Zedd, who commands power most men can only imagine, granting Abby's request would mean forsaking his sacred duty. With the storm of the final battle about to save the life of a child...but neither can escape the shadow of an ancient betrayal.

With time running out, their only choice may be a debt of bones. The world - for Zedd, for Abby, for everyone - will never again be the same.

A really good story but it assumes the reader is already familiar with the world of the Sword of Truth to a large extent.

If you aren’t familiar there might be a lot of things that don’t make much sense or are very under explained.

Good if you’ve read the series

He keeps the story alive and is not boring, he is easy listening,

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

all his books are great, you can really feel the passion and fear of the characters and really get to grips with the plot. I could not stop listening just to find out what happens with Richard and Khalan.

Any additional comments?

The first book in the series is Wizards First Rule and there are about 11 books in the series would definitely recommend if you are a fantasy book lover or are into Tolkien type novels.
