Amos Carver is just enjoying some R&R when people try to murder him in his sleep.

I listened to the end but there was little suspense and no twists or tension

A good third book in the series, exciting in parts, and very well narrated. However, I wasn't comfortable with the normalisation of torture for pleasure and would have preferred it not to have been accepted.
