About this listen

When Carver finds out Liana Cardoso is missing, presumed dead, he'll stop at nothing to find out what happened to her, and he'll avenge her by any means necessary.

Carver and Liana started out on opposite sides. She was NSA, he was trying to stop an assassin from hunting down Paola and killing her. After Carver saved Liana from Enigma, they laid low in the mountains of western North Carolina for a while and then the NSA welcomed Liana back in from the cold.

But someone in the upper echelons of power sold a list of undercover agents to an information broker. The organization Liana had infiltrated on her first mission back to the NSA presumably saw her name on the list.

And now she's probably dead.

Carver goes to Washington DC, his least favorite place in the country because it's filled with some of the worst vermin in the world—politicians. He's going to find out who sold the list, who bought the list, and he's going to kill anyone who had anything to do with Liana's fate.

She might be dead. But she'll never be forgotten.

Love Amos, a bad ass with a good heart, that he doesn't recognise. Childhood conditioning leaves Amos shut off to emotions and yet his actions speak far louder than words. Loyal only to his ex team members and anyone who has managed to get close to him, there are no boundaries to how far he would go to protect them. Meanwhile he still stands strong for the little man who has been badly mistreated and burned along the way. Even so Amos still prefers his solitary life, a good beach and a beer to live another day.

Great story lines, plenty of plots and twists to keep you guessing. Occasionally I felt the thoughts of a character went on for to long and I just wanted them to get on with it, but it didn't deter me from listening and I would recommend you take a listen as well. You won't be sorry.

More from Amos please.
