Good book. For the most part I enjoyed the story. Would have liked to learn more about what caused the series outbreak. Narration between characters sounded really awkward as opposed to flowing smoothly.

A rather tame zombie story, by that I mean there is not much blood and guts or gory descriptions that you typically get with other zombie stories, but as I am thinking the main audience is young adults , - that would be fitting.
Not a bad start to a series, kept my interest throughout.
Good narration by B.C. Archer

I really enjoyed this book, so much that I've bought the 2nd on in the series to read, narrated well by B.C.Archer.

James starts out as a typical teenager humoring his fathers lessons in hunting and life skills, and starts to appreciate how much his dad prepared him for the devestation around him. I loved seeing James mature through the book, his heartbreaking problems left me crying and his successes had me cheering him on, willing him to succeed. I adored Duke his faithful companion and hero. I need to see whats next for James and Duke!
