Set in New York and Southern California, Dawson’s Web is woven around a cast of supporting characters with often questionable agendas of their own. Charlene, a beautiful aspiring actress, gets involved with a not-too-bright blackmailer Randy.
Hans, a real estate mortgage broker under investigation by the SEC, becomes one of Charlene and Randy’s victims, but he retaliates by soliciting the aid of his long-time mobster friend Giovanni. But before Giovanni can track down Charlene and Randy, they escape to Los Angeles. In LA, their lives intersect with the lives of those who are similarly caught up in their own webs of deceit, adultery, and depravity.
