About this listen

Parenting is one wild ride, with sleepless nights, endless decisions, and constant second-guessing. One minute you’re trying to get your baby to nap; the next, you’re debating a curfew for your teen or wrestling with how much screen time is too much. Most of us are winging it half the time.

But what if you didn’t have to rely on gut feelings or late-night Google searches? What if you could make clear, confident choices using the small hints you already see daily? That’s the heart of Data-Driven Parenting.

Whether you’re soothing a newborn, calming a toddler’s tantrum, guiding a tween through homework stress, or negotiating screen-time boundaries with a teen, you’ll discover how to:

*Track feeding and sleep cues so you spend less time guessing (Babies)

*Catch your child’s tired cue and soothe them before tantrum begins (Toddlers)

*Catch homework stress, friendship drama, or screen-time meltdowns early so you can step in with games, chats, or screen-free activities that work (Tweens)

*Track study habits, mood check-ins, and social patterns to build trust, set fair boundaries on phones and gaming, and give them the support they need (Teens)

Packed with real-life stories, quick exercises you can try tonight, and simple tools you already own, Data-Driven Parenting replaces overwhelm with insights, honours your family’s traditions, and gives you the calm confidence you’ve been craving.

Stop winging it; start thriving. Press play and transform those “Am I doing this right?” moments into “I’ve got this.”

The examples are so relatable. It helped me stop guessing and start noticing what really works for my children. It’s not overwhelming , it’s encouraging. and very insightful. When I first saw “data” in the title, I thought it might be too technical, but it’s actually rooted in the everyday things we already experience as parents. Every parent should have this.

Insightful, relatable, and not what I expected from “data”

As most parents, I strive to provide my child with a wholesome upbringing and the tools and mindset to achieve whatever they desire in life. That, is all good and well but is often met with the reality of putting that into practice as a typically overtired mum met with the many emotions of young children. Just as with any successful business this approach hones in on the intentionality of parenting, whereby we empower ourselves by leaning on data ie observing what works and what doesn’t when we test and learn in accordance with our children’s actions. When put into practice this is game changing and has made such a difference in our household - for example not getting so caught up in things having to be done a certain way rather celebrating them being done first and foremost, allowing scope for improving how they are done with time and positive affirmation. This is more than just a book, it’s a helpful manual and one to lean on and recap as often as needed. Can’t recommend this book enough.

I like the fact that the book is practical, easy to follow, and full of tips that one can actually use right away. Honestly, it takes away a lot of the “Am I doing this right?” worry and provides clarity. The book is definitely one of the most insightful parenting books I have read , I highly recommend it!
