Summary

Geld, Gold, Gift - Miss Marple auf Mörderjagd

Miss Marples ehemaliges Hausmädchen Gladys ist ermordet worden. So macht sich die alte Dame auf den Weg, um den Tatort unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Doch Gladys war schon die dritte Tote in dem herrschaftlichen Anwesen, in dem sie tätig war: Der Hausherr, ein skrupelloser Geschäftsmann, und seine junge und schöne Ehefrau wurden vergiftet. Die Spur führt bis zu einer Goldmine in Afrika und zu einem Verbrechen, das lange zurückliegt. Scotland Yard tappt noch im Dunkeln, da hat Miss Marple den Mörder schon im Visier. Kann sie den skrupellosen Täter aufhalten und zugleich das Geheimnis der Goldmine lüften?
