Summary

Zombies on Main Street. Not my finest moment. The police aren't exactly thrilled with me, but when a cold case heats up and starts to stink of the supernatural, suddenly the sheriff is in my office offering me a job. When the case hits boiling point, I'm dealing with monsters, black magic, and ritual killings. I even have to call on the two craziest witches in town for help. Things must be bad if the Blackwell sisters are my only hope for survival. Maybe I've bitten off more than I can chew. After all, those who fight monsters should beware that the monsters aren't frog-faced, soul-eating demons.

An excellent end to the first story arc!

This was booked three of the Alex Harbinger PI series, and it wrapped up nicely story elements that were hinted at in the first two books.if you've enjoyed the series this far, this third book will not disappoint! My only real criticism is that I wish the books were longer. Four hours is fine for a short story, but not for what could be terrific fiction novels!

A New Harry Dresden is Born!

This three book series ( so far...) rivels Jim Butcher's Dresden series! Alex and Felicity's adventures is soom of the best reading ( hearing ? audio book after all ) I have experienced in a long time. I wait with bated breath for book number four.

All I can say is TYPE FASTER !!!!

Another great book in the series!

We return with Alec with his slightly sarcastic humor who now has developed a little bit of romance with Felicity. Felicity, who has returned from home, is not a liberated woman who loves her job and not willing to give it up for the man at home.

False memories, childhood mistakes and overprotective parents is a theme that is addressed in many urban fantasies i.e., Cassandra Clare’s and Joshua Roots. That will be the continuing underline story in the series.

In this novel, the sheriff has a new view of the world and the paranormal community pulls together to get rid of a threat. I like how the author is providing the time to develop the charters and the community. A few people in the community are aware of the type of investigation Alec does. Alec and the sheriff have learned how to work together. In many UF books, it is virtually impossible for the law enforcement to deal with the magical world. With that issue out of the way, it will be interesting to see how their relationships develop.

It is refreshing to get a new fresh UF series. I cannot wait until we find out more about Alec hidden memories.

Great, too short but great.

This is a great series! The story gets pushed along at a great pace and we find out more we've been waiting for. Action, great characters, and great pace! Only misses 5 stars because it's so short.

Preternatural Investigator Books Works for me

3rd book was a solid story and helps delve further into who Harbinger is. Like the other books, I am entertained and look forward to the next books. I am satisfied with the Narration, and that is very important for anyone who enjoys audio-books.
Onto to the next one.

Short review for a short story

Why do the characters always figure out the date that something bad is going to happen and it's always TOMORROW, IN 24 HOURS, OR NEXT DAY? 😂 Why don't they ever figure it out and say, "Hey, we have 6 years to save the world."

Short review for a short book

Book 3 of the Harbinger Series picks up directly after the battle of Book 2. As you can see in the publisher summary Felicity has returned to the US to work with Alec.

The book moves at a fast paced and brings all the cases Alec is currently working on to their conclusion. Some new personal mysteries arise and are sure to be interesting in future books.

This is the first book that all the misfits in Alex's crew come together to fight an enemy.

The narrator, Greg Tremblay, has a great performance. He hits the mark on everything.

The book is short and straight to the point. I don't particul art like the love interest storyline. It's a bit fast cor my taste but it's tolerable. Alec must stop a bad guy from opening a portal to a dark place and ending the world. Guess how long they have once they figure it out?

3 Stars 🌟🌟🌟- Good Book. I like the overall concept and it was delivered well. Most common ranking for a book I enjoyed and look forward to the next.

Very Good Third Audiobook

This audiobook is number 3 in the series and is as good as the other two. The narrator is excellent. I totally recommend this series.
