Summary
A CD edition of this popular Christie mystery. Read by Hugh Fraser, Captain Hastings in the popular TV series.
The house guests at Styles seemed perfectly pleasant to Captain Hastings; there was his own daughter Judith, an inoffensive ornithologist called Norton, dashing Mr Allerton, brittle Miss Cole, Doctor Franklin and his fragile wife Barbara , Nurse Craven, Colonel Luttrell and his charming wife, Daisy, and the charismatic Boyd-Carrington.
So Hastings was shocked to learn from Hercule Poirot’s declaration that one of them was a five-times murderer. True, the ageing detective was crippled with arthritis, but had his deductive instincts finally deserted him?…

Poor Poirot
I love the story and like all Christie stories great from start to end, but Hugh Fraser Poirot is very disappointing, makes him sound very French when he is actually a Belgium. Out of all Poirot performances Hugh Fraser is the worst one ever. He should stick to narrating non Poirot books.

I'm not crying, you're crying!
Curtain is one I can hardly bear to watch, which is a shame because the story is so good. I thought I might be better with the audiobook; naybe if it was someone other than Hugh Fraser reading it? But no, I couldn't escape the waterworks! Beautiful and so sad.

Moving and beautifully read
The plot is ingenious and original. Hugh Fraser’s reading of it is sensational and I enjoyed every minute of it.

A perfect finish to the series
10 out of 10. Final Poirot case finished with a bang. So glad I found Agatha Christie this last because no one comes close.

The end of Poirot
A poignant final case for Poirot aided by his faithful Hastings in which they re-investigate supposedly solved murders/deaths. In true Agatha Christie style it's intricately plotted and enjoyable to listen to owing much to being wonderfully well-read by Hugh Fraser (Hastings of the TV series).

A masterpiece, Poirot's last case
Fiendishly clever, heartbreakingly poignant. Christie wrote this in the 1940s and hid it away, to be published as Poirot's final chapter. Listen to this after hearing Poirot's other books, otherwise you won't feel the benefit! No one could have read this better than Hugh Fraser. Enjoy.

my favourite Poirot story
I liked this because the villain used subtle manipulation on his victims. The TV version is excellent because you see Poirot confronting the villain which is missing from the audiobook (unless I missed it).
