Es ist tatsächlich eine Art "Sakrileg", mit dem Dan Brown seinen Erfolgskrimi beginnt, indem der Chefkurator des Louvre mitten in der berühmten Galerie ermordet aufgefunden wird. Die Szenerie brennt sich in das Gedächtnis und wirft Rätsel auf, denn um den Toten herum findet man mysteriöse Symbole.

Ganz klar ein Fall für Robert Langdon, den Experten auf dem Gebiet verschlüsselter Botschaften und geheimer Codes. So entlarvt Langdon mithilfe der jungen Kryptologin Sophie Neveu den Da Vinci Code und stößt dabei auf die Geheimnisse eingeschworener Gläubiger, Kunstexperten und einer undurchsichtigen Bruderschaft.

Summary

Robert Langdon, Symbolologe aus Harvard, erhält in Paris einen merkwürdigen Anruf: Der Chefkurator des Louvre wurde ermordet aufgefunden. Bei seiner Suche nach den Hintergründen der Tat wird er von Sophie Neveu unterstützt, einer Kryptologin der Pariser Polizei und Enkelin des ermordeten Kurators. Von ihr erfährt er auch, dass der Sions-Bruderschaft angehörte, einer Bruderschaft, die seit Jahrhunderten ein dunkles Geheimnis wahrt.

German performer not as good as the English

It was ok listening until the point the characters meet Sir Leigh Teabing. He is clearly and often mentioned English. The reader here read him as a terrible old style American Texan cowboy.
Apart from that the book is fine. Even when the music and background Ambiente is too loud and scary when you just wanna listen to it in the background and trying to sleep.

gut gesprochen und spannende Geschichte

ich habe zuerst die Filme gesehen und habe jetzt mit den Hörbüchern angefangen. lohnt sich 👍
