Summary

A successful lawyer and loving mother, Nina Bloom would do anything to protect the life she’s built in New York – including lying to everyone, even her daughter, about her past. But when an innocent man is framed for murder, she knows that she can’t let him pay for the real killer’s crimes. Nina’s secret life began 18 years ago. She had looks to die for, a handsome police-officer husband, and a carefree life in Key West. When she learned she was pregnant with their first child, her happiness was almost overwhelming.

But Nina’s world is shattered when she unearths a terrible secret that causes her to run for her life and change her identity. Now, years later, Nina risks everything she’s earned to return to Florida and confront the murderous evil she fled.

In a story of wrenching suspense, James Patterson gives us his most head-spinning, action-filled story yet – a Hitchcock-like blend of unquenchable drama and pleasure.

Fab read

What made the experience of listening to Now You See Her the most enjoyable?

The plot - different to some JP books - really enjoyed the twists and turns

Any additional comments?

A little unbelievable at times(!), but thoroughly enjoyable.........also wanted to know if what she thought happ to her friends at the beginning really did happen? Was that a lie?

Enjoyable and fast-paced

Would you consider the audio edition of Now You See Her to be better than the print version?

Yes, the narrator is excellent. The music during tense moments is done very well too.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters are well formed & the listener can't help but root for the protagonist.

Which character – as performed by Elaina Erika Davis – was your favourite?

Probably Peter even though he is the baddy!

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I couldn't help but get caught up in the tense moments.

Any additional comments?

Very good!
