About this listen

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze was blowing through the meadow. A young raccoon had been playing in the meadow and was having fun.

As this perfect day was coming to a close, he was called by his grandma that it was time to come in for dinner. As he went to his grandparents’ house, he saw his grandpa looking out into the distance very thoughtfully. He wondered what Grandpa was doing and what was he looking at.

When the young raccoon got up to the porch, he asked curiously to his grandpa what he was doing. His grandpa replied to the young racoon that he was contemplating. The young racoon had never heard that word before or known what it meant. What would his grandpa tell the young raccoon about contemplation?
