About this listen

Opposites attract in the third Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan Stoker.

Bailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang. Hiding out in Castle Rock, Colorado, is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogether. But when she meets handsome security nerd Nathan Anderson, she discovers a reason to stay and fight for what she wants.

Ace Security's Nathan Anderson has always been the "numbers guy," not the man any of the firm's clients look to when their safety is threatened. But from the first time he ran into Bailey, she never made him feel like less of a protector than his brothers. Nathan was attracted to the petite, black-haired pixie with wild tattoos from the start, and by some miracle, she seems to return his interest.

But danger stalks Bailey and her brother, so it's up to Nathan to channel his inner alpha and find a way to end the threat to their lives once and for all - and he's not giving up Bailey without a fight.

Bailey and Nate getting together was lovely to listen to. Their relationship was a slow burn from attraction to passion. A story with a great pace with a tie up of issues over hanging issue from book two. Erin Bennett continues to do an excellent job narrating this series

Lovely❤️

Would you consider the audio edition of Claiming Bailey to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version, so can't say whether this is better. What I do know is I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story has strong characters, excitement, tension, sexual attraction, romance, tenderness and humour - brilliant!

What other book might you compare Claiming Bailey to, and why?

It is similar to Susan's other series - different enough to warrant a read, but just as good.

What about Erin Bennett’s performance did you like?

Erin didn't try to do different voices, which rarely works. She read the story in a way that allowed her to disappear n the background, and let the listener become immersed in the tale.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were two moving moments for me - one when Joel talked to Nathan about his experiences with the ganag members; the other when Bailey realised she loved Nathan.

Any additional comments?

Just great!
