Summary

Taming of the Sheenans, book one: Since the loss of her family in a plane crash, Harley Diekerhoff has led a quiet life and keeps to herself. I got sucked into this one by the Christmas theme. This is a meet cute novel which covers the effects of bereavement on people.
I am not bowled over by the domestic goddess stereotype and the strong terse cowboy but hey I am a modern European it just might not cross the pond that well. The reader performance was good. She saved it.

This story hangs together well. I loved every character, although I felt Brock got away with too much.

I presume the author hasn’t lost a child though. The language wasn’t quite right.

This was a lovely heart warming story. God brought two people together who did not realise how much they needed each other. Brock and Harly’s story was a great start to this series. I came across this series by accedent thanks to the audible plus catalogue and i am looking forward to more.
