The 10 stories include "A Christmas Tree", "Nobody's Story", "Seven Poor Travelers", "The Child's Story", "The Christmas Dinner", "The Haunted House", "The Holly Tree", "The Poor Relations", "The Schoolboy's Story", and "What Christmas Means to Us as We Grow Older": seven hours of listening pleasure during the holiday season.

I love everything by Charles Dickens but this rendition really lacked any magic to bring it to life. I really think these stoies; to stay true to their world, need an English accent to bring them to life - but that is just a personal preference possibly.

Performance lacking

No real expression given by the reader, his voice is monotonous and boring. This does not make compelling listening.

Very boringly read
