With the sudden rise in the number of investors, cryptocurrency exchanges struggled technically to deal with the surging user bases and the most popular exchange ‘Coinbase’ saw more than 800 percent growth in its user base by the end of 2017. There were a few other exchanges, such as, Bittrex and Binance, which temporarily closed their registrations to deal with the immense demand from new and existing investors.

Highly recommanded in this book!
Thanks, the author! This book was an unintimidating tech listen on a topic that many would-be well-informed to listen (hear). In fact, it was so well explained that it came across more as a societal information piece than a technology publication. Even the "liberty to skip" techno section was quite tolerable!

The author explained this book brilliantly.
Short but sweet overview of the blockchain. I had literally zero understanding of how blockchain works prior to this listen to this, but can now hold my own in a conversation, and know which pieces interest me more, so I can narrow additional listen and research to those parts.

A good high level explanation
A good high level explanation of blockchain and distributive ledger technology. Taking the technology concepts and applying them existing markets makes this book well worth the investment. Even though I already had knowledge of all the blockchain basics, this book provides more details of how the concepts provide the benefits promoted by the industry.
