Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. This was such a great read, it had my attention throughout; that's when you know you're on to a winner, your mind never wanders

What other book might you compare Burn to, and why?

Funnily enough: cuckoos calling by R Galbraith (JK Rowling).

What does Ben Onwukwe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Ben Onwukwe is one of the most talented narrators out there. When I first listened to him in Wolves of London, I thought his South London accent was superb and assumed he was originally from there. However, after listening to two more books narrated by him, I can see it is simply pure talent.

You'll notice that the most I have to say about this audiobook comes under their narrator's description. That is because the man makes audiobooks great. He allows a great story to become a superb rendition that feels like music to your ears. I simply love Onwukwe and he is right up there in my best narrator list. 10/10.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

TIA - This is Africa

Any additional comments?

The best thing about this book was the incredible ability Onwukwe has to switch from character to character and accent to accent. In this you will hear a perfect Glaswegean, Kenyan, Nigerian, South African and English accent. Quite a challenging mix but the narrator absolutely nailed it.

... Oh, and The story was fantastic. I will be reading more of Brownlee and detective Jouma!

Crime has a new voice... Brownlee is superb
