About this listen
I’ll do whatever it takes to get her back. She was mine, and it was everything. That month with her was as near to perfect as I’ve ever had in my whole f--ed up life. But then, I lost it all, and I still don’t know why. Though, I suspect it had something to do with that rat bastard Bryce Gentry.
One thing I do know: I’m not letting go of Callie Cruise without a fight. And it’s time for Gentry to finally pay for his many sins.
This book is a dark romance, the conclusion to the duet begun in Cut so Deep.

She just seemed to keep stumbling into the same disastrous mistakes while continuing to proclaim her strength and unwillingness to be manipulated that I started to find really tiresom. The book was also filled with much more explicit scenes that although don't offend me, I felt were a bit to numerous. However others will probably disagree with this.
The narration was good, with lots of expression, unfortunately my main issues with it isn't something that would be fair to hold against the book, because while I did find the voice of female character annoying, the narrator had soon a good job of portraying it. It was properly this that didn't help my dislike for the female characters. I just have a issue finding a narrator I enjoy listening to, as someone not from the US, the accents can sometimes be difficult to click with.
