Summary

Box of Hearts is the first audiobook in the Connor Ranch series and tells the story of second-chance love and the joy and sorrow it can bring.

Devastated over the heartache she never saw coming, Millie Braithwaite is determined to make a fresh start - she just didn't expect her new boss to make her so hot and bothered. Broken and suffocating in his grief, Jesse Connor wants nothing more than to be left alone to work on his ranch - he just didn't expect his daughter's new nanny to be so damn distracting. When Millie and Jesse meet, their connection is instant. But they're both still suffering and know one more heartbreak could shatter them beyond repair. Can a second chance at love, and the little girl who anchors them together, help them to heal and find happiness?

Loved it

Jesse Connor is all my cowboy dreams. I absolutely loved the Box of Hearts audiobook. Millie wants to escape her life in England so she takes a job on a ranch in the USA. Her task is to look after the brightest, most beautiful little girl she ever met. Her daddy is easy on the eye too. When Millie unravels the heart ache filling the ranch she risks a box of hearts. This book is about the Conner family which I totally loved. Jesse is a brooding cowboy and Millie is a great girl. This was such a great story.

This book stole my heart

Wow! I completely give my heart to this book. Box of hearts is a heartwarming book, filled with passion, humour, twists and turns, second chances, regrets, new beginnings and special moments. Jesse, I liked him, loved him, sympathized with him, hated him, I completely went through all the feels with this hot, stubborn, mule-headed cowboy. Millie, such a loveable British character. She had sass although at times I felt she needed a bit more backbone. Box of hearts is a story that will capture your heart, throw you through different emotions, and take you on a beautiful journey. Box of hearts is told in first person dual pov is brilliantly balanced by the author with the dramas, angst with the fan me down hot & sexy scenes sprinkled graciously throughout and leads to a well deserved anticipated hea. I've read and listened to this book and although I loved them both I absolutely adored the audible. The narrator's really brought the characters to life it's a definite must buy.

Brings the characters to life

Having read the book when it was first released I was excited to see Audible had done an audio version. It brought the characters to life, the accents and the mannerisms of all the characters. I hope they do the rest of the series in audio! Perfect reason to go on those long dog walks!

Beautiful story well performed

Loved this, emotional, funny, charming story. I adored all the characters especially Addy & the hilarious Ruby and thought that both narrators were exceptional. This is the perfect book to read/listen to if you are a fan small town romances with lots of interesting side characters. The concept of the box of hearts was just beautiful.

absolute wast of time and money.

Come on, this story is so cheesy and unrealistic. And don't get me started on the main characters, so immature and needy. No woman that respects her self would act like this.
