Story
Mason Blastoviak. This self-made billionaire doesn't bang the help. He doesn't get involved. And he never, ever falls in love. Cami O'Neal. This recent teaching grad doesn't do strangers. She doesn't neglect her charge. And she never, ever throws herself at billionaires, especially her hard-bodied, hard-as-nails, and very hard-to-figure-out billionaire boss - the guy whose kid sister is under her care. It all sounds good in theory. But what happens when these two decidedly different personalities are living under the same roof?

Story
The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

I didn't know I was that person. You know - the one who gets the kids. But that's what the will said. June Lawler: legal guardian. All my sister's kids have ever known is San Francisco, but I have to take them back to our family's small-town farm. The last thing I'm expecting is the dark car rolling down my dirt driveway. The man who steps out of it is as rich as he is rude, and I want nothing to do with him. Even if my traitor body didn't get the message.

My love story all started with a letter. Only it wasn’t from the man I’d eventually fall in love with. It was from his daughter. A sweet little girl named Birdie Maxwell who’d written to the magazine that I worked for. You see, once a year my employer fulfilled a few wishes for readers. Only that column didn’t start up again for months. So I fulfilled some of her wishes myself. It was harmless…so I thought. Until one day I took things too far. While anonymously granting yet another of Birdie’s wishes, I got a look at her father.

Vincent is offering me the opportunity of a lifetime - he’ll pay for my tuition and expenses at an exclusive university. All I have to do is move back in with him and his sons. Leo, Hayle, and Tristin Sharpe are no longer the boys I remember. They're all grown up, with the adult attitudes, tensions, and sex appeal to prove it. They aren’t my problem anymore. Yet, somehow, they keep drawing me into their web of drama. I might be the only person who can fix what’s broken between them. But I don't trust that they won't shatter me in the process.

They say that all men are created equal. Well, that’s a blatant lie! I know, because I met God's gift to women in Vegas; I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man. He took our fake marriage seriously, and it became his personal goal to consummate. He spoke to me in French, and I lied to him in German. His laughter was addictive. But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas. Until it didn't.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother. My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.

Finding a good roommate through a classified ad isn’t as easy as it sounds. I was starting to lose hope. Until a knock at my door came, and God answered my prayers. Except...uh...wrong prayer, God. I’d definitely requested the big guy find me a drop-dead gorgeous man on more than one occasion...just not as my roommate. Declan Tate talked me into interviewing him anyway. While he was amusing and charismatic, I wouldn’t have been comfortable living with a man, so I regretfully declined. Then, cupcakes showed up at my door.

Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice - the only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face, in between our many arguments.

When I was too young to know any better Ryan Jedson fascinated me. After he went on the run I thought I’d never see him again. I was wrong. Now that he’s back in town I realize it’s a bad idea to catch his eye. And yet I can’t help it. Sometimes you want the one you shouldn’t want. But there’s a complication. He has no idea that I’m the reason his life fell apart. And I don’t know what he’ll do if he ever finds out.
Summary
One crumbling house. One exploded truck. And two people who think they can't stand each other.
Arden Weathers. She's a girl on a mission, and that mission most certainly doesn't involve Brody Blastoviak, the hometown hottie who made her college prospects go boom six years ago.
Brody Blastoviak. He knows better than to stick his you-know-what into crazy. So why is he losing his cookies over Arden Weathers, the uptight chemistry partner who "accidentally" torched his truck back in high school?
Now, older and wiser, these former classmates are supposedly on the same team - working to restore a crumbling beach house that both of them want to claim as their own. Too bad for Arden, Brody holds not just the deed, but all of the cards and clout, too.
She's a broke college graduate, while Brody is not only hotter than ever but obnoxiously rich and famous, thanks to Blast Tools, a rags-to-riches brotherly venture. It's all so stupidly unfair, especially when Arden makes an appalling discovery. Turns out, she's not nearly as immune to her enemy's charms as she thought.
And Brody? Let's just say, this tool-toting billionaire is reluctantly learning that the girl of his nightmares just might be the girl of his dreams.
This enemies-to-lovers romance is a fun, full-length billionaire romantic comedy with a guaranteed happily-ever-after!

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 A Blast of a RomCom💘
Wow, this book is one angsty and comical ride and I loved every minute of it. Sabrina Stark is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style, she created interesting storylines that were captivating from start to end. I liked how she lightened up her angsty enemies to lovers romance with comedy, a perfect blend of tropes and not an easy task to pull off but she nailed it. The well developed characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. I adored both lead characters, Arden Weathers and Brody Blastoviak. Arden Weathers finishes college and returns back to what she thinks is her grandmothers home. Turns out it was recently sold and to none other than the one who caused her problems in H.S, ones that cost her more than he knew. Brody and his brothers have come a long way in the years she was away at college, they have a successful remodeling business and their own reality TV show featuring them and the homes they work on. When Brody catches her showering in what is now his house he does not know what to think. It does not take long to figure out who she is but he still not quite sure why she was there. OMG, the chemistry between these two is undeniable, well to everyone but themselves. Even the person filming the show saw it and offered her a job as a consultant just for the sake of adding drama to the show. Some of Arden’s antics were hysterical at times, her naivety was a bit unsettling at times as was much trust she put in her cousin. regardless of that I was rooting for her all the way. And for Brody to get his butt out of his head, those Blastoviaks are tough cookies life sure has hardened them. But it was good to see they still had a heart. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, humor, some heartfelt and emotional moments and a fabulous on the slow burn side of a romance. Sabrina Stark, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am looking forward to what comes next in this Blast of a series.
🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose are talented narrators and voice artists. They did an awesome job portraying the characters, giving each their own distinct voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. They grasped each characters’ persona and sounded just as I pictured them to sound. Stephanie Rose played the perfect Arden and Connor Brown did the same for Brody. Both were great with the secondary characters as well. They also captured the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you the awesome listen.

Loved this.
I received this audiobook via a promo code from The Flock at my request and this is my Voluntary Review.
Book 1 of the Blast Brothers series focuses on Brody Blastoviak, a Reality TV star for a Home Construction star who has found himself standing in his latest project with a naked woman in his shower, but before his mind can drag itself into the leaky gutter he recognises Arden Weathers, his former high school lab partner. The girl he loathes for "accidentally" torching his truck years ago. The last thing he wants is to get involved in that kind of crazy but somehow her sob story of it being her grandparents place she thought she co-owned with a cousin when he betrayed her and sold it... leads to them both working to restore a crumbling beach house on his TV show, and soon they have to accept that Chemistry is more than just a class they shared back in High School, and they end up ripping off clothes as well as rotting drywall.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story, I wasn't sure what to expect when I started it and it was a perfect treat.

BOOM (BOOK 1)
BLAST BROTHERS SERIES
WRITTEN BY SABRINA STARK
NARRATED BY STEPHANIE ROSE & CONNOR BROWN
This is a fabulous book that will definitely have you smiling. An enemy to lovers romance about Arden and Brody who reconnect after six years, having attended high school together they share an explosive moment that resulted in them becoming enemies. When Arden returns home after six years the home, her grandparent owned, the only home she could call home has been sold! Her cousin isn't answering her calls and she finds out the person who now owns her grandparents home is none other than her enemy from high school Brody who with his brothers own a renovation company who have their own TV show. There is still no love loss between them, and Brody now has something she wants, so is more determined than ever to save her grandparents home doing whatever it takes… Even clean up the yard for him. When the TV crew show up, they witness the angst behaviour between Arden and Brody that would make excellent TV so offer Arden a consulting job on the show now they are stuck working together and with all the pent-up angst between these two can only lead to some more explosive chemistry which makes for excellent moments in this book. This was a really good book. I loved the chemistry these two had however there are some secrets revealed that will lead into the next book called Bang which I am looking forward to listening to.

Enemies-To-Lovers Romantic Comedy
Boom by Sabrina Stark is an enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose. This is this first book in the Blast Brothers trilogy and can be read as a stand-alone.
This is the first book of Sabrina’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between Arden and Brody. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series Bang so I can get Mason and Cami’s story.
Connor and Stephanie did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I can’t wait to listen to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves enemies-to-lovers romance, romantic comedies, or billionaire romances.

Perfection! There really is no other way to describe this book. It had me laughing and screaming when they started acting stupid through he whole book which is what makes it so great. I was so invested in these characters and wanting them to find their happy endings that I was cheering for them all the way until the end. I can’t wait to see which brother falls next in this series!

Stand alone story but first in series
Boom is an excellent story. I loved how the title ties in to the history between Arden and Brody. The premise was great and the characters were fun. Sabrina Stark used intermittent flashback scenes in exactly the right way, not to bring up events for the first time (which I dislike), but to add dimension to the characters and illustrate how assumptions can color your perspective and have lasting effects. I actually prefer lower angst stories, but the first half of the book roped me in. I was so invested in the characters that I held out through the roller coaster ride of emotions to make it to the end. After the long rollercoaster, the ending seemed a tiny bit abrupt.
Boom has all the feels, so it's perfect for people who like stories with a decent amount of angst. That's not normally me at all, but I'm still glad I listened to it and I would do it again, so rom com fans who like home renovation shows and enemies to lovers stories should give it a try too. It is a stand alone, but I'm looking forward to listening to more of the series.
I listened to the audio version. Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose were both new narrators for me, but I enjoyed their performances and would listen to both of them again. I'm certain that I liked the story even better because I listened to it and the audio added to the experience.

Nice
I really enjoyed the story itself. It's the characters that got under my skin. They were really rude to each other. Nobody bothered to take the time to tell the other why they were acting the way they were. One of the "tropes" I don't like is the thing where the character is holding a problem or misconception they have with the other character so it causes miscommunications for chapters on in. It's just not a drama I'm particularly into. That's the only real big issue I had with the book though. The rest was hilarious and amazing!

Boom is right
a new author and I will say a great book. Arden and Brody are so enemies since high school. but as they work together on redoing her grandmas house they clash even more. it all started in Hs. as they work together will they resolved the complex issues. I will say I thought Arden was portrayed as someone who doesn't understand things. like no common sense. but yet she was a top student in her class.
both narrators are new to me. they did a great job with the story.

A steamy enemies to lovers romance
I was trigger happy and excited to listen to this one especially since I love a good enemies to lovers romance
I liked the fun and playful bater between Arden and Brody.
They were sweet together and the chemistry between them was intense and palpable.
I was rooting for them to get together from the very beginning.
The storyline was creative and engaging and the characters were likeable, relatable and well sketched out.
The narrators were apt and performed an amazing audio delivery and narration.
Will definitely be relistening to this one again

Ahhhh! I love this!
Having read the paper book I was beyond excited to learn this was available on audible. This story has everything, it’s the perfect read. Enemies to lovers without the cruelty that usually goes along, but all of the angst! Crazy sexual chemistry, and swiping smexy times, but not so many that we lose the actual plot. Bantering back and forth, our heroine is no doormat! An amazing grovel from the hero when they inevitably have a falling out over secrets kept. The narration is on point, they were chosen well. Bothe the male and female were able to switch characters easily. Definitely give this one a try, it was worth the credit (I’ll be adding it to my favorites).

fun listen
Arden is strong ,sarcastic and driven. Nothing stands in her way when she decides to do something. But this time the person in her way is, none other, than Brody Blastoviak, her high school nemesis. Brody is a hot, home remodeler tv sensation. His next project is non other, than Arden's grandparents rundown beach home. She can't believe he stole the house right from under her.
A lot of chaos,/miscommunication, and laugh out loud moments. The underlying hatred for each other slowly changes to friends then lovers.
Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose brings life and joy to this audio! I enjoyed listening to this story.

Never have I ever known I could laugh so hard.
Never have I ever known I could laugh so hard. Brody and Arden leave a lasting impression on the heart with their humorous antics. Stark lightens the mood with a over the top, love- hate romance that will knock you off your feet.

Bringing a Story to Life!
What starts out as one kind of chemistry gone wrong and another BOOM of epic proportions, then that leads to a whole other kind of chemistry when Brody and Arden come face to face after being not so much friends in high school. Brody and his brothers came from nothing and created an empire. Starting a tool company, that turns into a home improvement business and eventually one of the hottest shows on TV. The story is told in past and present, and as always Sabrina gives us amazing attention to detail. this book is fun, and romantic with some great characters. I love the banter that goes on. Of course we get drama and misunderstandings that send Arden running and Brody chasing. Stephanie and Connor did a great job bringing life into these characters.

House hunter revenge
He found a stranger trespassing in his shower. In her defense this shower use to belong to her grandparents. Turns out they are not strangers. They knew each other in high school after she torched his truck and he torched her scholarship. It’s been six years since they’ve seen each other yet the antics to be mean each other hasn’t faded.
Boom is an enemy to lovers contemporary romance. Brody buys homes to flip. He just so happened bought Arden’s grandparents house. This house was a constant reminder of happy memories for her. Arden fights and begs Brody not to destroy this home.
Sabrina Stark is a USA Today Bestselling author. She writes edgy romances featuring plucky girls and bad boys. Brody Blastoviak is the bad boy from high school that Arden wanted to get revenge against. Arden Weathers is the prim and proper girl from high school that Brody tormented.
Boom is the first book in the Blast Brothers trilogy. This is a rom-com contemporary romance starring three billionaire brothers. Each book can be read as a standalone. Sabrina attempts to recreate the Property Brothers concept with Connor’s character flipping homes. The entire premise is based on this house.
The writing style isn’t working for me. Between the dialogue, the attempt at humor, and copying the television show concept I just couldn’t find it in me to connect with any of it.
Narrator:
Stephanie Rose is the female performer of Arden’s character and point of view. She’s a romance based narrator.
Connor Brown is the male performer of Brody’s character and point of view. He specializes in stories of romance.
I listened at 1.9x speed using the audible app. Usually I would invest in the ebook to go along with my audiobook but after downloading a sample of Boom I realize this is the type of book that is better received by audiobook. I’m grateful for these two narrators for they saved me a tedious read of which I would’ve skim read.

Arden and Brody!
This was so good! I enjoyed the hate to live storyline more than I thought! And the two characters involved are extremely good for each other!
When Brody learns the truth of what Ardens life was like… and she learns the truth of his life and family… they find out what truly is important.

BOOM!!! That's how it is done!!
I’ll give it to you real... I struggled here for the first quarter. I was so angry at Brody that I was adamant I wasn’t going to like him at all. You know, on Arden’s behalf and all that. Any man, or person at that, should be tarred and feathered... strung up for taking away what Brody took away from Arden. But I soon realized it wasn‘t on purpose. Sometimes crappy things happen to good people. The situation that made them enemies was one of those things no one wanted to happen but, it did and here we are... Brody and Arden need a magic eraser! Since that isn’t available, they have some work to do! Thankfully these two have some mad chemistry and you can only fight that for so long.
The narration by Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose was perfect. This audiobook had a ton of spice and fight, some anger and a whole lotta sexual tension. Both Brown and Rose handled the ups and downs of this audio with a skill and ease of seasoned professionals. Rose specifically did a great job showing her pure disgust while battling that growing attraction.
