Summary

A shocking truth lies within the pages of an ancient library, locked inside a high-security complex deep beneath the Nevada desert. And the US government will stop at nothing to keep it classified. But a shadowy group of ex-employees want the world to know - however terrifying the disclosure might prove to be - a secret that could have a profound effect on the history of mankind.

Enjoyable second instalment...

Good story, I'd recommend it as a follow up to the first book in the series as it wouldn't work as a standalone storyline.

I love the subtle details from the first book that are further developed in this books storyline.

An enjoyable read.

The story starts off so well and before you know it you are transported back in time. Fighting for the under dog, discussing with anyone who would listen about area 51.

Some areas are clumsy, the death of her parents, the ending is exceptionally lame and dissppointing. it felt like the publisher demanded that the book was finished and it just did. 😡

Book of Souls

A great step up from its predecessor 'Library of the Dead'. I found it hard to put this one down. The story is much more tightly knit and Cooper bridges the pond between England and America as well as he does the centuries. Some great historical background on the book world as well as the reformation. Nigel Carrington's narration is a joy to listen to... he doesn't just read, but captures the spirit of the characters well. Wonder where Glenn will take us next on his journeys through time.
