Magnus always dreamed of being a rockstar, but that dream came crashing down when he fell from his balcony, and on his birthday, no less.

But his dreams aren’t over, even though he doesn’t know it yet.

Waking up in Borella, a world where mages and their mysterious pets rule everything, Magnus discovers that he is no longer a musician, but instead has become the Tower Master of the Crimson Flame Mage Tower. Some might call it an upgrade, but Magnus isn’t so sure.

Stuck in the body of a mage who shattered his own soul while trying to bind a powerful mysterious creature who doesn’t want to show its face, he is facing expulsion from his mage tower in a little less than a month.

Thankfully, whatever power sent Magnus hurtling through space didn’t leave him high and dry. It gave him The Genius Body Refinement System™, a system with the potential to make him the strongest body refinement cultivator in the entire world!

The only catch is that to make progress, he’ll have to raise his reputation as a powerful Mage, even though he can’t do magic.

This book is honestly as close to perfect as a Litrpg can be, I seldom write reviews as I devour so much content but this is a rung above the rest. From the first chapter I was intrigued and by chapter 3 I was hooked, I finished reading/listening to this yesterday and loved it from beginning to end, the progression, the opmc, the characters the rich world. So much so, that I have read the second book on kindle unlimited today during my toil as I couldn't wait until 30/06 for the book to release here! This series is a triumph and I was so disappointed when I read the end of the second book because I want more. This is unique enough whilst still hitting some standard tropes in an elegant way. Simply perfect, my favourite 2 books of this year same level as project hail Mary which is my favourite non Litrpg book of the year! WOW!

A blissful departure from boring Litrpg

Very likeable book, a reasonable MC with a system of power diametrically opposed to the world that he is in. Of course it’s an isekai trope so no surprise that the MC has mannerisms that are odd to the natives of the planet, but regardless it didn’t feel forced. It was a pleasant duo ride how invested I got into this book, especially because the world building kept getting bigger and bigger (with regards to both the power levels and the hidden realms). Overall a solid 4.3/5.

Chill and interesting
