Summary

With generous spirit and a profound sense of hope, Pope John Paul II always spoke to the people of the world in their own language and in a very personal way. In this special recording of his celebration of the Roman Catholic Holy Eucharist and various other liturgical selections, John Paul gives access to a spiritual and theological tradition that is centuries old.

These multilingual recordings by the Holy Father convey his dignity and passion, and most of all his love for the world. His prayers and scriptural readings are truly a treasure and an inspiration to all.

JOHN PAUL 1 & JOHN PAUL 11

It feels like yesterday when John Paul 1 was chosen to be the Pope. I remember saying to myself, "What a gentle man," and what a surprise to me, as at that time, the world was like a boiling cauldron of troubles, and although a lukewarm Protestant, I knew in my heart, that it might not have been the best of choices. When he unexpectedly died, and the Cardinals chose a young and sturdy man from Poland, that was the day that altered my life, as it was then, I knew God existed. The years went by and fell in love with John Paul 11, and to hear his voice today was so very good for my heart. i had never heard him saying Mass, and I liked how he said it.
This man changed and altered the world for the good, and he tore down the iron curtain by himself through Jesus Christ, and now Pope John Paul 11 is gone now, but until my passing, I can at least listen to his strong voice saying mass. You cannot go wrong with this book, no matter what your beliefs.
