About this listen

Liberal contempt for Trump supporters is exacerbating the political and cultural rift tearing America apart. Beyond Contempt shows progressives how to communicate respectfully and effectively across the great political divide, defusing hostility, building trust, and, just maybe, discovering common ground.

This book will completely make you rethink how you behave in real life and on social media regarding politics. When you realise your favourite comedians jokes and memes mocking those you politically despise actually makes their supporters more passionate about their cause and more likely to go to the polls you have to take some accountability and realise that’s no longer a sensible tactic. Not if the end goal is social harmony.
This, and the work of Dr David Campt mentioned in the book, is really eye opening and offers a practical route forward. Not an easy one, but one worth pursuing if we truly want harmony.

A must read for all liberals
