Any additional comments?

I have read a few of Sanchez's stories and I think this the best of them. A powerful undercurrent runs through the entire novel. Obviously something awful is involved, but Sanchez releases the tension only bit by bit, as the reader joins the psychologist Vidas's exploration of Diego's trauma. The hurt seems palpable at times, and the role of victim and survivor are vividly expressed through Diego's thoughts. Well worth the listen.
