A small-town romance with a charming little girl. I love the father-daughter bond and the early scenes were particularly adorable. The romance is both sweet and steamy without much angst, I loved the dual narration.

Loved the dual narration from Kat Auden and ScottRose, excellent.

Rhett's wife died when she gave birth to their daughter Hadley. Presley is the new nurse in town. She takes care of Hadley’s cut knees after a fall. It was an instant attraction,when Rhett and Presley meet. Rhett is not ready to be involved with anyone yet. He had too many emotions in his head regarding those thoughts. A great romance, these two must over come there past.

This is a wonderful single dad, small town romance, it is my first book written by TC Matson, and I enjoyed her writing style, the story drew me right it, grabbing my attention and captivated it the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are each to care about too. Rhett lost the love of his life when she gave birth to his daughter, Hadley, the other love of his life. Despite a few years going by, he still misses his wife and makes sure his daughter knows who she was and how much she loved her. Presley, a nurse, needed a change of pace and scenery, so when a friend mentioned a job opening in Cameron Falls, she left Denver and her life in the city. When Hadley fell, she helped her with her injuries. While out in town, Hadley was there with her father and she introduces them to one another. There was great chemistry between them, an instant attraction, but he was not ready to move on and she was just trying to settle into her new life. But he gets to see her again, in a friend capacity, to help with some of the work she is doing while renovating her house, a repayment for taking care of his daughter. This beautifully plotted story has a perfect balance of drama, charm, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst and a wonderful romance. Shout out to Hadley, a real scene stealer, an adorable scene stealer. TC Matson, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Kat Auden and Scott Rose are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit that character’s persona and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances this already great story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

This was an enjoyable listen with very likable characters. Rhett is a widow and single father of 7 yr old Hadley. Presley has left the busy life and moved to a small town as the new nurse in town. There was an instant attraction between them but having an adorable 7 year old and Rhett working through some issues keeps them moving slow. This was a heartwarming and super sweet romance story. I adored Rhett's family - this series feels like it would be great to listen in between those really emotional or dark listens.

Kat Auden and ScottRose did well with the narration and really bringing out all the strong feelings throughout and voices for Hadley.
