TC Matson welcomes you back to Cameron Falls for another fabulous novel, an engrossing enemies-to-lovers, second-chance romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings throughout. In this series, each book features a distinct Helms sibling; the first three were about the brothers Rhett, Blake, and Cash, and this fourth book features their younger sister Willow, who came back from college and runs the business side of the family ranch. Tucker Jones, a professional bull rider and good friend of the Helms brothers’ friend, after one too many injuries from riding, retired from the circuit and returned home to Cameron Falls. Everyone except Willow was happy to see him and welcomed him home with open arms. Willow had a crush on Tucker for the longest time, but then he broke her heart, leaving her jaded and unable to fall in love again. Tucker has regrets about how he handled things and needs to explain why, but Willow will not give him the time of day. It was clear there were still unresolved feelings between these two, and you could feel the angst and tension between them, especially on Willow’s end. It was great watching these two first dance around one another and then Tucker working his way in to melt the fortress of ice she put up around her heart. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and a slow-burn, but so worth the wait romance. The writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. It was great to see the characters from the earlier book and the scene and heart stealer, Hadley, again, who finally gets what she has been wishing for. TC Matson, thank you for another superbly entertaining story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Casey Long and Phillipa Miller did a great job bringing these characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. They embodied their characters completely, showcasing every facet of their personalities perfectly, from the two leads, Tucker and Willow, to the side/secondary characters, young and old. Their expressive delivery conveyed all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. These two voice artists are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performances keep you glued to the story.

It's Willow's turn! We have met her brothers, but now we get her story, and why she just has not found the man of her dreams. Or has she? Tucker, her brother's best friend and the man who broke her heart is back in town. No, she isn't happy, but that doesn't stop her heart from racing or telling him to leave her alone. Tucker knows what happened between them was not handled well, and he just wants a chance to explain. After all, it's been four years and he still can't get passed his feelings for her. But the obstacles between them are big. Mainly the walls that Willow has put up. What will it take to win her over? And how will her brother feel? This is such a fun listen! The heat and the tension between these two is delicious. Their constant push pull builds the emotions and keeps things exciting. I loved it!

Casey Long and Phillipa Miller bring this story alive with their talents. Their voices compliment each other and keep the tension building. I loved the emotions from both as they worked on finding their happily ever after. It is a listen not to be missed and a series that is total entertainment.
