Episode Summary
Have you ever looked at someone and thought "they seem so confident"? The truth is, someone can appear confident on the outside whilst unknowingly questioning themselves on the inside.
In this episode, I'm exploring what it really means to feel comfortable in your own skin, and why it's about so much more than confidence or appearance.
After returning from a recent trip, I realised I'd spent the entire holiday without wearing makeup. It wasn't about the makeup itself. It was about what it represented, and how much my relationship with myself has changed over the years.
I share some of the subtle signs that you might not feel as comfortable in yourself as you'd like, from overthinking conversations and comparing yourself to others, to people-pleasing, perfectionism and constantly worrying what others think.
I'll also talk about my own self-development journey, including shadow work, Belief Coding®, breathwork and the importance of continuing to do the inner work. And if you're wondering "that's all well and good, but what can I actually do?!" I'll share ten gentle, practical ways you can begin feeling more at home in who you are.
Because feeling comfortable in your own skin isn't about becoming someone else.
It's about giving yourself permission to be the person you've been all along.
