Learning to Love Who I'm Becoming
What happens when life changes you so deeply that you no longer recognize the person staring back in the mirror?
After being diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), I spent years believing healing meant finding my way back to the person I used to be. But every setback reminded me that I wasn't simply recovering. I was changing.
In this episode of Journeys, I share my personal journey of grieving the life I expected, wrestling with questions of identity, and discovering that healing isn't always about going back. Sometimes it's about learning to love the person you're becoming.
Whether you're navigating chronic illness, loss, a major life transition, or simply wondering who you are in this season of life, I hope this conversation reminds you that your worth has never depended on your productivity, your abilities, or how closely your life matches the plans you once imagined.
Because every journey changes us.
The question is... who are you becoming?
