In 1993, Barbara With, Teresa McMillian, and KimberlyLilith Phelps began organizing groups in their living rooms to study Barbara’s psychic channeling. Kim and Teresa had been clients of Barbara’s, and in the same fashion as Edgar Cayce, Jane Roberts, Abraham Hicks, and Delores Cannon, Barbara was being impelled to channel for a group of people.

In that first group reading together on December 14, 1993, the voices identified themselves as “Angels” and said they were here to teach “world peace, one person at a time, starting with you.” What they taught us wasa revolutionary way to deal with conflict that would change the course of our lives. The trick was figuring out how to use their suggestions and instructions to bring peace to our own conflicts in these new, uncharted ways.

We referred to ourselves as the Psychic Sorority, recorded the sessions, transcribed the tapes, and made the instructions available to anyone who wanted to listen.
