It was 1984. I was driving through eastern Ohio, trying to make it to Wheeling before midnight, when the snow on the radio got so bad I pulled off into a town called Darlington. Population 600, maybe less. The only place open was a twenty-four-hour laundromat on Sycamore Street, and I went in to wait out the storm. But the machines weren't running. And the television in the corner — an old Zenith with rabbit ears — was showing something that wasn't on any channel. A woman’s face, very still, very pale, like she was pressed against the glass of the screen from the other side. And she was mouthing something. Over and over. I stood there for a long time, watching her lips form the same shape. And when I finally understood what she was saying — I couldn't leave. I couldn't turn away. And I haven't been able to stop thinking about her since. #LostBroadcast #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #Laundromat #SycamoreStreet #Darlington #Ohio #CRTTelevision #Zenith #TestPattern #WomanInTheScreen #LipReading #WinterStorm #1984 #NoSleep #Creepy #AnalogHorror #Podcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
